5th Annual Candy Factory Gingerbread House Decorating Contest.  This annual contest challenges young and old, individuals and families to create a gingerbread house.  A benefit for Habitat for Humanity, this year’s contest also encourages creators to join the celebration of the 150th Birthday of the old Davidson County courthouse by creating a rendition of it.  Houses will be on display at the Old Courthouse (2 South Main Street, Lexington) from November 23 through December 13.  Complete entry information is available at the Candy Factory ( 15 North Main Street, Lexington), by calling 336-249-6770 or emailing candyfactory@lexcominc.net or by clicking here!
